About The Position

CT Tech - 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. 2 years experience current required. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Job Description: Performs computerized tomographic radiographs according to established practices and Procedures, Reviews exams for clinical appropriateness, appropriately prioritizes exams, and demonstrates effective communication of critical situations. Is knowledgeable regarding hospital policies and procedures.Certifications: BLS (must be through American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute); *Primary ARRT certification required, *ARRT (CT) certification is preferred * NM state license is required EMR: EPIC experience preferred.Shifts: 12-hour Varied shift position. Shift start time Varied Weekend yes. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Holidays and floating may be required. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Scrubs: Required and not provided by the facility (Ceil blue, Navy blue, Maroon, or Teal).
