Amazon's Cross Border business provides customers access to Amazon’s worldwide selection with a localized search and browse experience, convenient local payment options, end-to-end delivery solutions, and access to native customer service on the local Amazon marketplace. The Cross Border business simplifies the cross-border shopping process by clearing customs on behalf of customers and guaranteeing no additional duties or import fees beyond what is shown at checkout. The RBS Cross Border team’s vision is to empower customers to “Stay Local, Shop Global,” with a focus on improving cross-border customer experience and maximizing revenue potential of cross-border ASINs by addressing cross-listing, Buyability, discoverability, and detail page conversion issues at scale. In 2025, the team aims to expand into non-footprint countries, enabling customers to access our offerings through their preferred shopping experiences.
Key job responsibilities
Translate basic business problem statements into automation requirements based on in-depth analysis.
Influence and implement automation strategies to eliminate root causes of issues.
Leverage existing scalable technology platforms and solutions to onboard Amazon Global Store use cases.
Collaborate with external tech teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive the launch of solutions.
Provide internal training on Python to Operations colleagues.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
Experience with SQL.
Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python).
Open-minded, creative, and proactive thinking.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) projects.
