What we offer:•Full time•Health, Dental, Vision, Pension Plan•Career Growth Opportunity •Bonus Potential•Vacation PayLocated in our Canton, OH facility and reporting to the General Manager the Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for the successful submission of mechanical estimates based on plans and specifications through design and identification of resources required for installation, retrofit and repair assignments for completion of work for customers. Focus for this position will be primarily on the HVAC air side of the business.Responsibilities:Review engineered mechanical plans and specifications - HVAC and sheet metalConstruct material takeoffDesign and/or identify resources required for complete installation, retrofit and repair assignments based on expectations of the jobConstruct material takeoff for HVAC systemsPrepare a complete mechanical bid that includes material, labor and other applicable costsCoordinate with purchasing to compile material costsWork directly with outside vendors and subcontractors to compile equipment and subcontract costsMechanical estimationCoordinate with the team to meet bid deadlinesCommunicate the estimation data for reviewCommunicate and coordinate with technicians to create proposals as necessaryAbility to perform site surveys and equipment evaluations to create proposals for owner direct replacement, redesign and/or retrofit projectsAbility to present the project to the customer and manage the project as appropriateAbility to go to job sites and evaluate work progress and needs. Especially critical for determining ability to meet deadlines and/or work demandsProvide technical support to techniciansOther duties as assigned.Education/Experience:Minimum 3+ years mechanical estimating or installation experience - RequiredMechanical system knowledge should include heating, cooling, air distribution, building automation, refrigeration, and other mechanical systems - RequiredKnowledge and understanding of CAD and BIM - RequiredHigh School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) - Required Competencies:Excellent mathematical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills,Excellent organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detailProficient knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Office softwareAbility to learn and navigate ERP project management systemPhysical Demands:This is a mix of a sedentary role and on-site job visits. Ability to safely access job sites is necessary.
