The Role This is an exciting opportunity to join ION as a Senior Technical Consultant. You will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementing customer requirements while mentoring team members. Your work will involve collaborating with business analysts, clients, and team members to design and implement product extensions, configurations, and interfaces. You will also review infrastructure sizing, deploy, test, tune, and implement systems in a team environment. Key Responsibilities
Implement projects across all phases: design, build, test, deploy. Provide technical advice, design, analysis, custom coding, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting for the ION solution. Support architectural design decisions for system interfaces and custom scripts. Follow best practices for implementation. Gather and document technical requirements and specifications. Support client training on development technologies. Participate in product training to understand system functionality. Present technical solutions to clients. Consult with clients to determine system requirements. Follow project delivery standards and track deliverables. Lead small to medium implementation projects. Maintain documentation and communicate project status. Participate in upgrade analysis and testing. Set up internal environments for testing. Maintain chargeability on client accounts. Travel to client sites as needed. Overlap with EMEA CET hours and some US Eastern hours. Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Knowledge of IT2 implementation. Experience with VBScripting, Object Rexx, API, IT2 installation/upgrades, Power BI, Crystal Reports. Degree in IT-related field. At least 8 years in software design, deployment, or related fields. Minimum 7 years working directly with IT2. Expertise in at least 3 main areas of ION products. 5+ years in consulting. Proficiency in programming and system deployment. Experience with reporting tools and scripting skills. Knowledge of cloud technologies and SQL. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
