A leading law firm is seeking an experienced E-Discovery Attorney to join its Financial Services & Securities Enforcement practice in Chicago. This position supports complex litigation and regulatory enforcement matters involving financial institutions. The attorney will manage discovery workflows from end to end, contribute to litigation strategy, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. Ideal candidates will bring a deep understanding of discovery platforms, financial industry matters, and case management within large-scale litigation. Location: Chicago, IL Duties: Lead and manage all stages of the e-discovery process, including preservation, review, production, and privilege log creation Advise clients on preservation issues and coordinate implementation of legal holds Conduct witness interviews to determine document collection scope Assess and respond to discovery requests and objections Collaborate with case teams to define and enforce proportional discovery scopes Oversee document collection, review, and production efforts Maintain regular communication with case teams on project status, budget, and timelines Assist with project planning, technical documentation, and execution of project schedules Coordinate with internal litigation support, vendors, and document review teams Utilize Relativity and similar platforms to manage data, perform searches, and track review progress Prepare productions for depositions, motions, and trial proceedings Support factual development by relaying information from witness interviews to review teams Adapt to evolving case needs and manage tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in e-discovery; litigation experience preferred Proven ability to manage large-scale e-discovery matters in high-pressure environments Practical knowledge of document review workflows and litigation lifecycle Familiarity with legal and procedural nuances related to financial services litigation Experience in team-based legal project coordination and budget management Ability to take ownership and lead all discovery operations in complex legal matters Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school Certifications: Admission to the Illinois State Bar (required) Skills: Expertise in Relativity and comparable review tools Strong legal research and analytical abilities Advanced communication and documentation skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Problem-solving mindset with adaptability to changing case demands Proven track record of managing discovery timelines, costs, and reporting Hybrid work schedule promoting flexibility and balance Merit-based and hours-based bonus opportunities Billable credit for pro bono work Full benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plans Company info BCG Attorney Search 200 South Wacker Drive, 31st Floor Chicago Illinois United States 60606 Phone :
