A prominent Texas-based law firm is currently seeking a skilled and driven Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of complex commercial litigation experience to join its litigation team in Houston. This partnership-track position offers a hands-on, collaborative environment for attorneys looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will have immediate opportunities to manage responsibilities across all phases of litigation and contribute to a wide variety of sophisticated commercial matters in both state and federal courts. Location: Houston, Texas Duties: Handle all aspects of complex commercial litigation in state and federal court Draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda Conduct legal research and formulate case strategy Take and defend depositions of clients, witnesses, and experts Appear in court for hearings, motions, and trials Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, and other team members on litigation strategy Work directly with clients and opposing counsel on case management and resolution Mentor and supervise junior associates and staff Participate in firm development activities, training sessions, and continuing legal education Requirements: 3–5 years of complex commercial litigation experience Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment Prior courtroom experience and strong case strategy skills Comfortable working with expert witnesses and managing discovery Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Certifications: Admitted and in good standing with the Texas State Bar (required) Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent legal research and analytical skills Client counseling and negotiation ability Capable of working independently while contributing to a team Mentorship and leadership potential Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with profit-sharing contributions Paid time off and leave Paid parking Continuing legal education and professional development support Supportive, collaborative work culture with cross-office engagement Opportunity for advancement and mentorship in a partnership-track role Company info BCG Attorney Search 10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100 Houston Texas United States 77042 Phone :
