Lionsgate is currently seeking an Attorney reporting to the Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, supporting the Human Resources department. The successful candidate will have experience with labor and employment matters, having worked in a law firm or corporate legal environment. Responsibilities
Draft and review contracts including employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, separation agreements and vendor agreements Track and provide updates on key employment law issues Work across HR and the organization to provide advice and counseling regarding general labor and employment issues including performance management, employee classification, accommodations, workplace harassment and other relevant labor and employment issues Coordinate annual policy updates for corporate policies to distribute company-wide for employee compliance, including employee handbooks and HR internal policies Assist in investigations and external counsel to respond to employment-related claims or disputes Support the data privacy team on employment-related matters Assist with employment-related production matters Qualifications and Skills
JD degree from an accredited law school Licensed to practice (and in good standing) in at least one state Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience with Word, Excel and Outlook Nice to Haves
At least one year of experience working for a law firm or corporate legal office Licensed in California Ability to work independently while supporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical skills About Lionsgate
