Location Seattle, WA Duties Develop and execute litigation strategies for cyber and data privacy cases Engage in client communications and liaise with opposing counsel Draft legal documents, including reports, pleadings, discovery, and motions Conduct depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and trials Provide counsel on cyber incident response, crisis management, and regulatory compliance Assist clients with regulatory investigations following data breaches and privacy violations Collaborate with legal professionals across international jurisdictions on cyber-related matters Requirements Litigation attorneys: 3-6 years of experience in cyber and data privacy law Incident response attorneys: 2-4 years of experience in cyber incident response and regulatory investigations Experience in insurance-related legal matters preferred Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Certifications CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) preferred but not required Additional cybersecurity or data privacy certifications are a plus Skills Strong litigation and negotiation abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle high-pressure situations and respond to cyber incidents effectively Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Capacity to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams Benefits include annual performance-based raises, discretionary bonuses, professional development opportunities, and career growth prospects such as secondments and international collaboration.
