Job Overview The Managed Care Contracting team assists provider clients, including health systems, physician practices, and accountable care organizations, in planning and executing their managed care functions. Responsibilities include contract negotiation, modeling, rate benchmarking, and strategic planning. We seek a data-driven, client-focused candidate with a keen interest in provider contracting and negotiations. Key Responsibilities
Manage and support contract negotiations, including payor outreach, contract review, redlining, and summarizing rates and terms. Develop and refine financial models to evaluate reimbursement scenarios across provider types. Lead or participate in client meetings, document key points, and follow up as needed. Provide weekly updates to management on client engagements. Prepare and review client deliverables for accuracy, clarity, and presentation. Conduct market research and synthesize findings into strategic briefs to guide project direction and enhance deliverables. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred). At least 3 years of relevant experience in Payor or Managed Care Contracting. Proficiency in Excel and analytics platforms.
