The HR Generalist will provide support with the daily functions of the Human Resources department. Provides policy and procedure guidance to employees and managers. Performs data entry in various HR information systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Administer and facilitate Workers Compensation and Leave of Absence programs, including state-specific coordination if needed. Review FMLA paperwork for compliance and perform recertification as needed. Assist the Sr. HR Generalist with accommodation requests and tracking. Provide policy and procedure guidance to employees and managers. Assist with employee relations investigations. Provide HRIS support to employees and managers, including user setup, removal, and overall management. Enter data into various HR systems and audit for accuracy and compliance. Perform HR audits of electronic employee files. Assist employees with benefits, including new hire onboarding and open enrollment. Complete certified payrolls for prevailing wage contracts. Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws. Punctual and regular attendance. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS Education:

High School Graduate or GED Experience:

At least 4 years in multiple areas of human resources, with knowledge of federal and state laws, in a multi-state environment. Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, HRIS, ATS, and Timekeeping systems. Experience with ADP, Kronos Dimensions, and iCIMS is a plus. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Physical Demands Position involves sitting frequently, standing and walking occasionally, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs, reaching, squatting, and kneeling. Visual acuity for near and distance vision is required. Work Environment Office setting in a controlled environment.
