A private equity–backed, $500M+ consumer goods company with significant growth plans is seeking a Director of Commercial Finance. This newly created role reports to the VP of FP&A and will serve as a key partner to Sales and Marketing leadership, driving financial forecasting, modeling, and performance analysis across the business.

As an individual contributor to start, you’ll have direct exposure to the CFO and senior leadership while playing a critical role in guiding strategy and ensuring the company meets its ambitious goal to double revenues in the coming years.
Location:
Burlington, MA (Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 remote
Compensation:
$180,000–$200,000 base salary + 20% bonus
Key Responsibilities
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. Analyze performance versus budget and forecast; deliver clear insights and recommendations. Partner with Sales and Marketing on ROI analysis for trade spend, promotions, and marketing investments. Develop financial models to evaluate pricing, promotions, and strategic initiatives. Drive annual budgeting and long-range planning processes. Prepare reporting decks and present results to senior leadership and the Board.
Qualifications
CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) experience is required. 8–10+ years in corporate-level finance, FP&A, or commercial finance. Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills. Proficiency with financial systems and tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Planful; ERP experience a plus).
