Labor and Employment Litigation Associate
to join its Employment Litigation team. This role is ideal for an attorney with a strong foundation in labor and employment law who is ready to take on complex litigation matters, provide strategic counsel, and advocate on behalf of clients in both pre-litigation and courtroom settings. Duties
Provide legal advice and representation on labor and employment matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour claims, and workplace investigations. Conduct in-depth legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery. Handle negotiations and settlements on behalf of clients. Manage labor and employment litigation from intake through resolution. Represent clients at mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and court appearances. Collaborate with colleagues and partners on strategy and case development. Requirements
Minimum of
2 years of experience
in labor and employment litigation preferred. Knowledge of California and federal employment laws and litigation procedures. Ability to manage a litigation docket with varying levels of complexity. Experience negotiating settlements and engaging with opposing counsel. Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications
Licensed and in good standing with the
California State Bar . Skills
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities. Skilled in oral advocacy, negotiation, and client counseling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
