Defense Attorney Open to Multiple Practice Areas

Baton Rouge
Seeking an Associate Attorney in Baton Rouge with minimum 2-5 years of Insurance Coverage experience for an AV-Preeminent, full-service law firm known for providing high quality litigation. Experience in primary practice areas of General Liability, Casualty Litigation, Employment, Contracts, Public and Administrative agencies would be a plus; empathy and passion for helping to guide clients through the case process are great qualities for this role.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, interested in diverse practice areas, and bringing a positive attitude to join a collegial, collaborative team in a boutique firm environment.
Duties And Responsibilities Include
Draft discovery, requests, responses, legal research Prepare and argue motions and opposition to motions Defending depositions Strong written and verbal communication
For the determined and motivated individual, this is an excellent opportunity for career development, supporting a seasoned managing attorney willing to train and mentor. Annual compensation range DOE $120K-150K with full-suite benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, life, 401K.
