Senior Vice President, Operational Risk Group (New York)
Responsibilities:
Morningstar DBRS is seeking a full-time Senior Vice President (SVP) to join the Operational Risk team in New York.
The SVP of the Operational Risk Group will oversee planning and conducting operational risk reviews for RMBS, ABS, and Structured Credit finance products.

As part of the Structured Finance Group in New York, the candidate will assess the quality of a company's origination and servicing capabilities by conducting onsite or phone reviews, completing scorecards analyzing origination practices, underwriting guidelines, performance, controls, technology, servicing, default, and recovery procedures. The candidate will evaluate strengths and weaknesses, present findings to the rating committee, and contribute to presale and rating reports as needed.
The role requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to develop comprehensive reports. The candidate will also attend investor meetings to explain Morningstar DBRS methodologies and publish topical reports, ranking reports, and methodologies.
The position involves frequent travel.
Requirements:
Completed College or Master's degree program
Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills
Ability to interact professionally with senior staff and maintain confidentiality
Willingness to travel frequently, typically for two days at a time
Ability to attend and run full-day meetings
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Salary Range:
$145,000 - $272,000 USD annually Incentive Target:
