Business and System Analyst

works closely alongside the Systems and Planning, Dining and Hospitality, Operations, Finance, Group Technology, and Commercial Teams. It is responsible for leading, analysing, and managing the inflight business and financial mapping for Domestic and International flights for pax and crew to ensure accurate Purchase Orders, Accruals, and inflight spend. This involves managing and updating meal service and handling specifications in our systems to align with inflight specifications, including mapping to meet the correct financial spend for inflight food and handling. This role is also responsible for reviewing caterer contracts regularly and ensuring that relevant systems and stakeholders are updated with correct details regarding customer, contract terms, financial/tax mapping, and spend management to meet payment requirements. The role contributes to process review and automation initiatives for critical mapping, engaging with Business and IT teams to ensure accurate inflight spend and audit compliance. Additionally, it involves analysing and validating system data variations for accurate invoicing for inflight caterers by flight and class, ensuring timely payments according to contract terms. Qualifications Essential Criteria: Strong analytical skills and sound decision-making ability Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Commitment to excellence and motivation to succeed Advanced knowledge of Reservation Systems, Inventory, and Customer Management Operational experience with Remote Desktop tools and Teradata SQL Proficiency in Visual Basic and MS Office suite Extensive knowledge of Global Distribution Systems Comprehensive understanding of IATA Air-imp formats Broad airline business and operational knowledge Understanding of Revenue Integrity philosophies
