Oglebay
The Trace Chophouse Bartender is responsible for mixing and serving drinks to guests and ensuring legal age limits for all alcohol consumption.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other beverages according to recipe Maintain cleanliness of walk-ins and reach-ins Adhere to all Oglebay policies Ensure cleanliness of glassware and bar Take food and beverage orders, use POS system to ring items Ensure opening, ongoing, and closing side work is complete and signed off on by manager on duty Count money in cash drawers at end of shift to ensure amounts are correct and there is adequate change Ensure end of shift bank is balanced with appropriate procedures followed in daily drop Build and maintain regular clientele by providing personalized service and attention to detail Complete appropriate trainings listed on the human resources Training Matrix Adhere to Wheeling Park Commission's safety rules and policy; refer any and all safety concerns to department manager, safety committee, or human resources Interact with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees COMPENTICIES
Mixology : Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and the ability to create both classic and innovative cocktails Inventory:
Assistmanagement in counting inventories on hand Customer Service:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers, address concerns, create a welcoming atmosphere Attention to Detail:
Ensuring accuracy in drink preparation, presentation, and order processing Product Knowledge:
Familiarity with different types of spirits, mixers, and garnishes Problem-Solving:
Ability to resolve customer issues and handle stressful situations with a calm and professional demeanor Fine -Dining Service:
Excels in a formal dining restaurant; ability to provide detailed table service, full wine opening service, engage in upselling, strong menu knowledge
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Wednesday - Sunday 3 - 11 PM 35-40
