We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic
Lead Bartender
to oversee bar operations in our community-based restaurant. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional service, crafting quality beverages, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for residents, guests, and visitors. In addition, the Lead Bartender supports management by training bar staff, monitoring inventory, and ensuring compliance with responsible alcohol service. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to build lasting relationships within a community setting. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and creativity. Provide attentive and professional service at the bar and in dining areas as needed. Lead, train, and mentor bartenders and servers on proper drink preparation, service standards, and community engagement. Monitor bar operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety guidelines. Maintain accurate cash handling and POS transactions. Manage bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, and restocking supplies. Assist with menu development, seasonal cocktails, and special event beverage offerings. Uphold responsible alcohol service practices in accordance with state and local laws. Foster a friendly, community-focused environment by engaging with regular patrons and new guests. Collaborate with management to support community events and promotions. Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years bartending experience, with prior lead or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage presentation. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
