Position Summary 33 USA Inc. is a full-service marketing agency specializing in the entertainment industry with a focus on anime and manga, providing a one-stop solution for promoting our clients' works worldwide. The Business Development Division handles account management, project management, marketing planning, and sales, collaborating closely with internal and external partners to achieve client goals. The Lead is responsible for managing the team, driving goal achievement and growth, working with managers to develop strategies, and making decisions. The role also involves enhancing organizational strength through continuous self-improvement and skill development, with the aim of promotion to Manager. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: Sales: Identify potential new clients and develop approach strategies Develop and implement sales strategies for North America and other markets outside Japan Negotiate and close contracts to secure new business Engage with clients to build and maintain strong relationships, including hosting and entertaining Attend meetings and events outside normal hours with short notice as needed Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing clients in North America and acquire new projects Manage project budgets and ensure profitability Evaluate project performance and report to clients regularly Oversee billing and payment processes for smooth funds flow Project Management: Develop project plans based on client needs and coordinate with teams Manage project timelines, quality, and risk, and communicate effectively with clients Leverage internal and external resources for integrated marketing solutions Marketing Planning: Conduct market research and data analysis to develop marketing strategies Plan and execute marketing initiatives aligned with client objectives Manage budgets and measure ROI, making improvements as needed Other Responsibilities: Support advertising and creative functions as needed Collaborate with external partners for optimal client solutions Work closely with executives, other divisions, and the Japan headquarters to support company goals Team Management: Execute operations according to strategy, manage project progress, and supervise team members Provide guidance and support to specialists and contribute to team development Client Relations and Coordination: Establish and maintain good client relationships, understanding their needs Facilitate collaboration across departments and partners to ensure project success Business Improvement: Analyze and improve business processes within assigned functions Education and Experience Requirements: Required: Bilingual English/Japanese skills, strong communication and negotiation skills, at least 3 years in marketing, 1 year in team management, project management skills, understanding of Japanese and North American cultures, Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), passion for entertainment Preferred: Strategic thinking, data analysis skills, creativity, leadership, problem-solving, presentation skills, networking, entrepreneurial spirit, cross-cultural communication, ethical standards Benefits include health care, paid time off, and a hybrid work model, with flexibility to adapt as needed.
