Turbine Millwrights
for projects located
in and around Knoxville, TN.
This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of
$24-36/hour
based on experience and skill level. If you are a Millwright and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
Perform field activities at:
Telecommunication central offices
Electric utility substations
Data centers
Lead and perform battery and DC power plant installations and hot cutovers
Battery testing
Preventative maintenance
Battery and equipment installations (with limited supervision)
Conduct site surveys and quality control of other technicians’ activities
Test and verify alarms
Develop Methods of Procedure (MOPs)
Build and enhance customer relationships
Provide field updates to Operations Manager as requested
Requirements
Excellent computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and climb stairs/ladders
2+ years of related technical training/experience
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Ability to travel frequently throughout the U.S. for extended periods
