Inventory Control Coordinator
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Control Coordinator to join a dynamic and fast-paced warehouse team. This role is key in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and smooth flow of materials from receiving through production. Key Responsibilities: Receive and inspect incoming packages for accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged materials Label, bin, and place inventory in designated storage areas Pick parts from inventory and assemble kits for production use Deliver material kits and stock to the correct production stations Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory Maintain cleanliness and organization in inventory and storage areas Operate pallet jacks and non-powered handling tools (forklift operation if certified) Expected Results: Demonstrate understanding and application of Nomad Core Values Understand different transportation methods (air, rail, sea, road) and their cost/benefit differences Familiarity with raw materials, production processes, and quality control practices Required Skills & Experience: 0-1 year of experience in a warehouse or inventory environment (preferred) Forklift experience/certification (preferred) Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programs High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus Physical Requirements: Regular use of hands and arms to handle and operate tools or inventory items Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods depending on task assignments Frequent movement throughout the day, including lifting and moving materials
