The Opportunity:
The Enterprise Communications Services 3 (ECS3) program supports our intel customer across multiple operational locations. Our mission is to drive technical transformation by integrating leading-edge technologies into existing services. We develop new designs, implement solutions, and ensure the smooth operation of enhanced services, focusing on modernization efforts in LANs, unified communication (UC), video telecommunication, and streaming services. Responsibilities: Develop and deploy UC solutions, including VoIP, SIP, and cloud-based communication platforms. Lead engineering designs and technical refresh projects impacting mission success. Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and IT teams for smooth UC operations. Work with security teams, network engineers, and support staff to improve system integration. Troubleshoot system failures and accessibility issues. Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for UC operations. Maintain knowledge base articles and handle 'how to' inquiries. Perform system upgrades and apply patches to Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and IOS on UC systems. Support UC Knowledge Management by entering solutions into the database. Recommend improvements for UC monitoring, management, and operations. Implement emerging UC technologies. Apply security protocols, encryption, and industry standards (NIST, DoD, STIGs). Work independently in remote locations as a primary engineering resource. Resolve escalated UC tickets and coordinate resolutions with UC Operations staff. Conduct root cause analysis. Configure, deploy, and maintain UC monitoring systems. Mentor junior staff and lead UC implementation efforts. Participate in project management for upgrades and refresh cycles.
Qualifications:
Required: TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain CI poly. Expertise in Cisco Unified Communications Manager and UC operations. Network administration/engineering experience. IAT II certification. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership.
Desired: CCNA certification and ITIL v4 Foundations.

The salary range is $90,300 - $189,600, influenced by location, experience, skills, and certifications.
