Full-Time/Permanent (40 hours) Salary:
Competitive salary depending on experience/Generous benefits Overview of the Role To develop, deliver, and ensure a high standard of learning, development, and care for children aged 2-5 years. To plan appropriately for SEND children using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for guidance, SEND Framework, and practices for the nursery, ensuring each child has an Individual Education Plan to support their learning and developmental needs. To ensure the nursery complies with all relevant legislation, local authority, and OFSTED requirements. To ensure the provision is of the highest quality at all times and strives to attain the highest ratings such as
OFSTED Good or outstanding. To work with the Head of Clinical Services and Operations Director to ensure the nursery's curriculum is effective. To work with the Head of Clinical Services to deliver a therapeutic environment and support for attending children. To collaborate with the Head of Clinical Services, Operations Director, and other key staff to plan and deliver a timetable of learning and educational daily activities. To prioritize safeguarding children and staff above all. To promote and maintain our reputation for providing exemplary practice. To manage the day-to-day activities of the setting. To ensure the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff, and visitors. To develop partnerships with parents and carers to increase involvement in their child's development. To manage all nursery staff, placement students, and volunteers. To undertake tasks delegated by the Operations Director. The ideal candidate must be: Educated to minimum GCSE level with passes in four or more subjects, including English and Maths. Childcare qualified to minimum level 4 from a recognised awarding scheme (CWDC Diploma, NNEB, BTEC, NVQ, CACHE). Willing to consider graduate or postgraduate training, e.g., Early Years Teacher, Professional, or Educator with relevant experience. Fully trained in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Fully trained in safeguarding children at Designated Lead level. Evidence of managerial training. Fluency in written and spoken English. Experience working with children with Special Needs. Dedicated to maintaining an environment that fosters continuous improvement. Willing to go the extra mile. Ability to manage a team effectively.
