In this key leadership position, you will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP while ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal policies. You will lead all financial functions within the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, and tax. Your responsibilities will also include establishing and enforcing internal controls, developing accounting policies, and supporting the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives. As the primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies, you will provide guidance on complex accounting issues and stay updated on new regulations. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) and possess CPA certification. We require at least 12 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and tax regulations is essential, along with experience in a public accounting firm and/or publicly traded company. Proficiency in financial systems and ERPs, particularly Oracle Fusion, is crucial for this role. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills are needed, alongside a high level of integrity, dependability, and a strong sense of urgency.
