Travel Mammography Tech - $2,990 per week in San Francisco, CA

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent relevant experience. License: Valid State License required. Certifications: CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist RHM-Radiology Mammography BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Must-Have: ARRT R BLS CRT (R)(M) Description: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education and experience is required. Certification and licensure in radiology and mammography are mandatory. Required experience includes two years of recent relevant work. Skills required include 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and digital quality assurance procedures. Fine needle aspirations, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy skills are also necessary. Experience with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX is essential. Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient care, radiation safety, and isolation precautions is expected. Understanding of universal precautions and core measures is crucial. The position requires providing care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census is approximately 150. All certs must be AHA approved and in hand during the application process. Specific charting experience, particularly with Epic, is preferred. Travelers may be required to float to other locations if needed.
