Job Description Conduct thorough patient assessments, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history evaluations Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through meticulous interpretations of imaging studies and laboratory results Collaborate directly with surgeons in the formulation and implementation of tailored surgical treatment plans Offer intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments during operations Deliver exceptional care pre- and post-operation, featuring medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient counseling Education
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgical specialties is a strong advantage Certifications
Current and unrestricted
PA-C
certification BLS
and
ACLS
certifications mandated State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant Skills
