Job Title: Tank Integrity Engineer - Oil & Gas
Location: Alpharetta, GA

Selectek has partnered with a growing Oil and Gas client to find a highly skilled Tank Integrity Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance for above-ground storage tanks (ASTs) and providing technical support for inspection, repair, and construction activities.
About the Role:
Regulatory Compliance: You will provide subject matter expertise on ASTs, ensuring adherence to API standards and regulatory requirements (PHMSA, air agencies). Technical Support: You will review tank repair scopes, drawings, and strappings, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Quality Assurance: You will perform quality control of tank inspection and post-modification reports, ensuring proper documentation and data management. Procedure Development: You will review, revise, and create tank integrity procedures, standards, and forms to support consistent execution of inspections and repairs. Data Management: You will maintain the Tank Integrity database and tracking tools, integrating data with other corporate programs. Inspection Oversight: You will provide oversight for in-service AST inspections per API 653 and STI SP001. Troubleshooting: You will troubleshoot engineering issues, provide guidance to construction teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize tank performance.
Who You Are:
Educated Professional: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experienced Professional: You have 6-10 years of experience in tank construction/maintenance within the oil and gas industry. Technical Expert: You are proficient in API tank-related standards (API 650, 653, 2350, 2000, etc., API 510 a plus). Detail-Oriented: You possess excellent attention to detail and strong technical writing skills. A Strong Communicator: You have excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Term: This is a 9-month contract position. Pay Range: $60.00 - $79.00 per hour based on prior experience.
