Position Overview:
As a Material Delivery and Crane Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of materials while supporting our commitment to outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities: Delivery:
Load, secure, and verify materials on trucks daily. Site Assistance:
Aid drivers in navigating job sites and positioning equipment. Roof Top Operations:
Climb up to 40-foot ladders to deliver materials on roofs with pitches of up to 8/12. Equipment Management:
Ensure that delivery trucks are properly equipped with necessary tools and materials. Inventory Control:
Assist with quarterly inventory checks and maintain the organization of materials. Safety Compliance:
Adhere to OSHA standards and promote safe handling practices to protect yourself and others. Customer Engagement:
Provide helpful assistance to customers and address any delivery or service issues professionally. Requirements: Ability to read, write, and comprehend English or Spanish. Knowledge of roofing materials, construction, and distribution is a plus. Certification to operate various types of cranes (e.g., knuckle boom, drywall boom). Physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights. Commitment to safety and compliance with company policies, including passing substance abuse screenings.
