Job Description:
We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic obstetrics department. In this fast-paced environment, you will provide high-quality care for women and their newborns during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide compassionate and competent care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborn infants. - Perform triage and Non-Stress Tests (NSTs) efficiently. - Serve as the second nurse during deliveries and manage overflow patients as needed. - Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an exceptional, patient-centered experience. - Support patients facing complications during pregnancy, childbirth, and recovery.
Unit Overview: Join a fast-paced, supportive team that plays a critical role in guiding patients through the childbirth and postpartum journey. Enjoy a collaborative environment with a strong focus on team-oriented care for women and their newborns.
Requirements: - Must be labor-trained. - Certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above).
