Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatric Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/22/2025 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Now Hiring: Registered Nurse - Pediatrics Hendrick Medical Center - Abilene, TX Assignment Details: Start Date: September 29, 2025 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 Days (07:00 - 19:00) Patient Ratio: 1:4 Float: Required to NICU, may float to other units/campuses Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend Orientation: 16 hours (paid, non-billable) Requirements: 3 years Pediatrics RN experience Previous Charge experience required BLS & PALS (must-have) Preferred: CPHON, NRP, OCN Charting System: Allscripts Traveler must live 150 miles from facility Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults Setting: Pediatric MedSurg (23 beds) Support Staff: PT, Respiratory, Social Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, RRT Dress Code: Navy scrubs Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required Why this role?
