What Does a Successful Infrastructure Engineer Do at Fiserv?
As an Infrastructure Engineer you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our application systems. You will install, configure and manage applications supporting the Financial Institutions Group. In addition, you will oversee the daily operations of application systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance. This is a 24/7 support team of our Financial Institutions Group. What You Will Do:
Attend incidents, troubleshoot application issues, and resolve application issues to minimize downtime and impact on users Implement and maintain monitoring tools and processes to track application performance and generate reporting metrics Work closely with development, infrastructure, and support teams to deploy and support applications Manage the deployment pipelines for continuous integration What You Will Need To Have:
4+ years of experience in application operations 4+ years of experience in application monitoring tools, incident management systems, and performance optimization techniques, such as Dynatrace, Splunk and/or Extrahop 4+ years of experience in automated deployment processes and tools Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience What Would Be Great To Have:
Experience with monitoring solutions and practices Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Experience in fintech domain Important Info About This Role:
