Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform imaging for
ER ,
inpatient , and
outpatient Portables, Stroke-certified imaging, Trauma No OR or Fluoroscopy Must be able to
start IVs
for CT May be trained on
EPOC
for point-of-care creatinine testing (CT prep) Must understand basic scan protocols (protocol book provided) Flexibility to float to
Magic Valley Hospital
(rare) Required Experience:
Proficient in
both CT & X-ray Must be able to confidently work in either modality Familiarity with
Siemens (CT/X-ray)
and
Philips (X-ray/portable)
preferred Must be able to adapt using provided protocol resources and physician preferences Scheduling & Shifts:
10-hour shifts , 24/7 department coverage Day Shift:
2 techs Night Shift (6p–7a):
1 tech Some
12-hour weekend shifts Schedule created by Lead Tech (Kelsey Riggen) No "one-on-one-off" patterns
preferred No call or standby Holiday:
Downstaffed; typically not required to work Orientation:
1–3 days
