About The Position
Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 11:00 - 23:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current state license required Certifications: ARRT-CT Must-Have: CT registry and current CT experience required. Current state license required. Description: This position involves working in a busy CT unit with a high volume of scans. The unit operates with 2 scanners, offering a variety of imaging services. The staff consists of both full-time and PRN employees. The patient load averages 80-100 scans per day. Candidates with experience using GE or Phillips equipment are preferred. Procedures commonly performed include biopsies, scans of the head, spine, and chest, and CT angiograms. Ideal candidates are skilled in multitasking, can easily adapt to change, and work effectively as part of a team. Dress code requires navy scrubs. There is a weekend and call requirement for this position.
