Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Specialty: CT (Computed Tomography) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Fri-Sun Hours per Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Certification in Radiography, ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography preferred Must-Have: Experience working with trauma patients Description: Looking for a start on September 1. Client auto deducts the Washington state tax; this can be re-added. Department is equipped with 4 GE scanners, including 2 for inpatient use, 1 for outpatient use, and 1 in the emergency department. No need to float to other areas; work is limited to the 4 designated scanners. Common imaging studies performed include CT scans for inpatient, outpatient, and emergent cases. The average number of outpatient scans is 12-14 per day, with 10 procedures per day on one machine for in-house work. In the emergency department, an average of about 40 scans can be expected across all shifts. Electronic Medical Records and Picture Archiving Communication System used is Epic. Department includes a supervisor or lead technician available as a resource. In-house radiologists are available during the day, with on-call support after hours. Starting IVs is preferred but not required. Staffing is available 24/7 as per contract requirements. Weekend and holiday work is included as part of the contract. No call or standby requirements exist. Scrubs are provided by the department. A one-week department-specific orientation is conducted. The goal is for new staff to not be alone for extended periods and to have resources available for questions. The hospital retains the right to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. Charting systems utilized include Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR. A BSN is not required. This position is within an acute care setting. Thank you for your interest.
