Position: Inspector Timken Gears and Services' Philadelphia Gear brand is seeking an
Inspector
responsible for independently performing all inspection functions, including:
Gear Inspection
General Dimension
Layout
Receiving Inspection
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience in all inspection responsibilities listed above.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints, 3D models, and knowledge of GD&T.
Commitment to workplace safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
Ability to develop positive relationships with peers to foster teamwork.
Physical ability to walk, stand, climb, lift up to 25 pounds, see, hear, and use hands for handling or feeling objects.
Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
US citizen or legally authorized foreign worker to work in an ITAR environment.
Fluent in reading and speaking English.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation Pay Range: $30 - $37.50 per hour.
