About the Role

Full Stack Engineer with a frontend focus

to join the Sphere Digital teamour intelligent web assistant platform that helps users navigate financial services through seamless chat and digital experiences. Youll be responsible for building responsive, user-centric interfaces that make advanced AI capabilities intuitive and accessible. This role requires strong frontend expertise, a keen eye for interaction design, and the ability to integrate tightly with backend and AI systems that power natural, personalized, and context-aware conversations. As a key contributor, you will play a central role in crafting experiences that blend intelligence, automation, and trustpowering millions of interactions across banks, credit unions, and their customers. Responsibilities

Build and maintain modern, performant web interfaces using

React (or equivalent) , delivering high-quality experiences across desktop and mobile Work across the stack to integrate frontend components with backend APIs, orchestration layers, and real-time messaging systems Collaborate closely with designers and product managers to turn wireframes and prototypes into elegant, production-ready experiences Design and implement frontend patterns, design systems, and reusable UI components that scale across use cases Handle session management, personalization logic, and dynamic content rendering to support intelligent agent behavior Contribute to backend services (Node.js/Python) as needed for integration, data modeling, or lightweight orchestration Qualifications

Required

4+ years of professional experience in frontend or full stack engineering Deep understanding of

HTML, CSS , accessibility (a11y), and responsive design principles Experience consuming and designing REST/GraphQL APIs; comfort working with real-time data and WebSocket-style protocols Strong product sensibility and empathy for UX, edge cases, and error states in interactive flows Working knowledge of backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar)especially for integrating data and services Preferred

Experience with design systems, UI performance optimization, or complex state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, XState) Exposure to conversational UIs, AI interfaces, or chat-based products Familiarity with analytics instrumentation, experimentation frameworks, or usage tracking Prior work in B2B SaaS, fintech, or regulated environments Why Join Us

Base compensation is expected to be between $165,000 - $190,000. Exact compensation may be based on skills and location with equity included.
