Responsibilities
Develop computer vision models or multimodality models to recognize violation content on TikTok.
Explore cutting-edge multimodal or computer vision large models (e.g., CLIP, COCA, ALBEF, BLIP, Flamingo, ViT-G, ViT-22B, EVA-enormous).
Explore the application of LLMs in business scenarios, such as pre-training, zero-shot / few-shot learning, hard case mining.
Continuously optimize the training framework to better support training large models.
Contribute to the development of cutting-edge content-understanding models to improve recognition of violated content and optimize distributed model training.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure models align with platform policies and user safety goals.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Master or Bachelor degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
Related research experience in computer vision, multimodality, or LLM.
Proficiency with at least one deep learning framework (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Published papers in top AI conferences or journals (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NIPS/NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, TPAMI, IJCV).

Compensation and Benefits The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $112,725 - $177,840 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is part of the Total Package and this role may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits vary by location. Eligible employees have day-one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and more. 10 paid holidays, 10 paid sick days, and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated on start date with tenure-based accruals).
