Responsibilities
Support data intelligence solutions around Snowflake Data Warehouse.
Architect, design and operationalize large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
Write SQL queries against Snowflake and develop Python scripts to extract, load, and transform data.
Qualifications
At least 10 years of software development experience, and minimum 5 years of experience on Snowflake development in AWS. Solid experience and understanding of architecting, designing and operationalization of large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse. Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures. In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept and modelling structure principles. Understanding data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done. Experience in Data warehousing OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modelling. Experience gathering and analysing system requirements. Developing ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using a combination of Python and SnowSQL. Writing SQL queries against Snowflake.
