Director, Engineer, STAAT Analytics Platform
to: Help build a comprehensive data platform for collection, organization, use, and distribution of data and analytics results to power the Smart Platform ecosystem. Work with Data Scientists, Architects, and Developers to design and deploy data/predictive modeling solutions to end-users across the globe. Convert complex analytic and reporting requirements into simple solutions. Ensure end users can access accurate data for insightful business decisions. Produce optimized dimensional database designs supporting hundreds of users querying millions of transactions with performance from minutes to sub-second; identify and resolve design and query performance issues on multi-billion row databases. You’ll be working in the GOTO Technology team in Weehawken, NJ. Your expertise This role requires a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus six (6) years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree plus eight (8) years of experience. Experience needed with: Big data tools including Spark and Kafka; Programming with Python; Pyspark frameworks; Software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies; Cloud platforms like Azure Synapse and Databricks; Building and optimizing Big Data pipelines in batch and real-time; SQL; DWH/ETL in RDBMS.
