Principal Application/System Sales Engineer , you will be the key technical expert responsible for creating and documenting standard applications and reference architectures to drive sales in your assigned vertical market. You will work closely with the sales and support teams to understand customer needs, develop customized solutions, and deliver impactful product demonstrations and presentations. Your deep knowledge of the company's products and their applications, along with your ability to effectively communicate their value, will be crucial in driving sales growth. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance, conduct training, and build strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure successful solution development and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will facilitate sales of complex application/system solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to business growth. YOU MUST HAVE Extensive experience in sales engineering or technical sales roles, preferably in application/system solutions. Deep knowledge of the company's products and their applications, with strong communication skills to convey their value. Technical acumen and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer requirements and develop tailored solutions. Excellent presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Proven success in driving sales and exceeding targets in a technical environment. Strong customer relationship skills for long-term engagement. WE VALUE Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields. Additional certifications in sales or technical solutions. Experience selling to specific industries or verticals. Innovative mindset and eagerness to explore new opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design the extra low voltage system infrastructure, including all relevant interfaces. Document and maintain design choices with functional and financial impacts. Develop technical relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors. Support global account development. Lead pre-sales engineering solutions based on customer requirements. Collaborate with teams to define system architecture and specifications. Analyze applications to develop optimal solutions. Review RFQs, specifications, and compliance requirements. Participate in conferences to present solutions and differentiators. Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and emerging technologies.
