MH-60R Developmental Test Pilot role at KBR, Inc. in Patuxent River, Maryland. You will be part of the world’s largest independent flight test organization supporting both US Government and Commercial Agencies. Role and Responsibilities
Support HX-21 Developmental Test and Evaluation at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), NAS Patuxent River, MD. Perform the duties of an MH-60R/S developmental test pilot and project officer. Support a wide range of NAWCAD test and evaluation requirements, including test planning meetings, test plan development, event planning, test procedures and cards, flight briefings, test execution, post-event support, test reporting, and deficiency reporting. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. Graduate of a rotary wing flight mechanics curriculum from a recognized test pilot school (e.g., US Naval Test Pilot School, Empire Test Pilot School, EPNER) required. Minimum six years of experience. Two years of rotary wing RDT&E flight experience required. Minimum of 1,500 total flight hours and 800 first-pilot hours in rotary-wing aircraft required. Current or previous qualifications as MH-60R/S Helicopter Aircraft Commander and Maintenance/Functional Check Flight pilot required. Candidate must be able to pass physical and training qualification requirements to provide contract aircrew support, including Navy water survival and aviation physiology training, as well as annual FAA Class II flight physical. Some travel required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance. Preferred Qualifications
Current aircraft qualification and recent experience with rotary-wing test & evaluation techniques, concepts, principles, and practices preferred. Active Secret level security clearance. Schedule and Compensation
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours Compensation: $176,660 - $264,990 The offered rate will be based on location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience, contract affordability, and internal parity. Benefits
