Their mission is to connect defi protocols directly to tradfi, enabling users to control their daily personal finances—such as paying their credit card and mortgage bills—directly from the defi protocols that they already use. The clients first product lets users of Aave and Sushiswap on Polygon network pay their US credit card and mortgage bills.
Job Description
They are hiring for their crucial Founding Head of Growth & Marketing role. As a web3 startup that has just closed $2.5m in financing and has big goals, they need to spread the word about their brand and product, and build a growing community of interested customers!
As their Head of Growth & Marketing, you will own the process and messaging by which they attract new users and build their community.
Responsibilities
Develop external marketing strategy, including content (blog), SEO, crypto Twitter engagement, events and podcasts
Hire and manage additional staff, including community managers, content creators, and product marketers
Set up analytics and targets for their marketing funnel, from external engagement on social media, through their website waitlist, through to conversion and usage of their app
Partner with their product team to unlock growth (e.g. through product-led growth initiatives)
Write marketing copy for website and external materials and posts
Launch and run their Discord community server (with the help of additional hires)
Leverage our investor community to promote their product
You will also engage in some partnership and BD work, identifying the projects and personalities that we should collaborate with to reach their growth goals
Qualifications
Must have:
Experience in crypto / web3 marketing, especially through Crypto Twitter and Discord
Must have:
5+ years experience in growth hacking and marketing, preferably at consumer tech startup companies
Must have:
Expert in Google Analytics, AdWords, SEO, Hubspot, Mailchimp and/or other state-of-the-art marketing tools and services
Must have:
Clarity of thought and communication—you can craft a simple and powerful position for our brand
Must have:
Excitement for engaging with everyday users, everyday—you are an extrovert!
Nice to have
Familiarity with fintech regulations and/or technology
