The GTPN (Global Treasury and Payment Network) Team is at the heart of Airwallexs payment infrastructure, expanding coverage of our global treasury and payment network, enhancing capabilities and user experience, and provisioning innovative payment products. We are seeking a highly accomplished and motivated Engineering Director to lead this dynamic team. Role
As the Engineering Director in Airwallexs GTPN team, you will oversee a number of feature teams across Transfers, Client Treasury, and GTPN Infrastructure. You are a technically strong engineer with leadership, product thinking, and business acumen. You will be responsible for the overall quality and delivery of multiple engineering streams, clear blockers, provide context, escalate when needed, work with stakeholders globally, and manage all engineers in the GTPN team to define the tech vision and build products that meet and exceed customer expectations. Experienced and Inspirational Leader with a track record of leading high-performing teams in dynamic environments. Technically proficient with 10+ years in software engineering, architecture, and modern practices. Data-driven, collaborative, and committed to knowledge sharing and coaching.
