Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities: Design and develop highly scalable backend services for DeFi platforms, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. Collaborate with frontend and smart contract engineers to integrate backend services with blockchain technology. Optimize the backend architecture for efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing in a high-performance DeFi environment. Implement secure APIs for communication between the frontend, smart contracts, and third-party services. Participate in backend code reviews and troubleshoot any performance or security issues. Stay updated on the latest backend development trends and best practices in DeFi and blockchain. Requirements: 3+ years experience in backend development, with a focus on Java. Experience of backend development with Node.js, Go, or equivalent technologies. Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, smart contracts, and DeFi protocols. Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data management in distributed systems. Proven experience in building and maintaining APIs, microservices, and backend infrastructure. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Seniority level
