Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of litigation, from case evaluation and strategy through trial or settlement Draft dispositive motions and legal memoranda Handle written discovery and depositions (both taking and defending) Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and settlement negotiations Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop legal strategies Maintain and grow relationships with clients and referral sources Contribute to business development and marketing efforts within the firm
Qualifications
2–4 years of litigation experience Admitted to practice in Illinois; dual licensure in Indiana or Wisconsin is a plus Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills Demonstrated experience with depositions, motions, and courtroom appearances Trial or appellate experience is a plus Excellent academic credentials and professional demeanor
