HDR is seeking qualified individuals to provide project, geographic and technical leadership in our growing dam, levee and flood resilience programs. HDR is employee-owned and highly ranked in the United States by ENR for Dams and Reservoirs and Hydropower. Our dam, levee and flood resilience program is committed to improving resiliency, sustainability and safety of our communities. Our nation’s dams, levees and flood control systems are being upgraded and rebuilt to adapt to climate change, provide more renewable power and meet growing water needs. HDR engineers are leading the way to solve our toughest water infrastructure problems. Responsibilities
Provide project, geographic and technical leadership in complex dam, levee and flood resilience management projects as engineers of record, group managers and technical practice leaders. Develop and apply expertise in potential failure mode analysis (PFMA) and related failure prevention methodologies. Collaborate with HDR teams across locations; HDR has over 200 locations and offers relocation or remote opportunities to work near you. Contribute to resilient, sustainable designs, construction oversight and risk management for water infrastructure projects. Qualifications
Civil, structural, geotechnical or hydraulic engineers with expertise in dam, levee and flood resilience management. Experience with potential failure mode analysis (PFMA) or related analysis approaches is a plus.
