Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will provide technical support to both internal and external customers, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, and repair of injection molding systems. You will collaborate closely with the call center, spare parts team, and customers to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.

Travel Requirements
Approximately 90% local/regional travel within your assigned area (Monday–Friday)
Occasional North American travel (up to 10%)
Some weekend work may be required
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, order replacement parts, and perform repairs or component replacements on machines and/or robots.
Conduct testing and inspections as needed to ensure proper function of equipment.
Complete work orders and maintain regular written reports on activities and repairs.
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, sales, and service teams to address technical issues.
Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills to exchange complex technical information.
Use computer systems effectively, particularly Windows-based applications.
Perform additional special projects or duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-year technical associate’s degree or diploma.
Experience with injection molding equipment, including assembly, testing, service, and engineering.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Proven skills in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Strong electrical background and mechanical aptitude.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
Ability and willingness to travel, including potential trips to Canada.
Additional skills beyond English are an asset.
Energetic, positive work ethic with strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking.
