Associate Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, ensuring high service levels at all times. They also build and motivate high-performing teams to maximize property performance. Essential Job Duties
Assist the Regional Property Manager with overall building operations. Ensure smooth community operation in a fast-paced environment. Oversee all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy management, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease and renewal paperwork to company standards. Track and evaluate advertising and client traffic. Lead by example, embodying Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company. Supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Maintain effective staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching. Maintain resident files according to standards. Create a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and follow-up. Manage community budget and finances. Collaborate with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals. Competencies
Effective communication and customer service skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet navigation Office, bookkeeping, sales skills, and excellent communication Ability to set goals and improve staff performance Team management skills Perform other duties as assigned Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred High School Diploma, GED, or Vocational training required Experience
3+ years of Property Management experience 1+ years of Management experience Work Environment
Professional office setting with routine use of standard office equipment. Regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions. Physical Demands
Stand, walk, ascend/descend stairs, and travel outdoors as needed. Sit or stand for most of the day; operate office machinery. Other Duties
