Overview
Co.act Detroit, a place-based nonprofit intermediary at the intersections of community, nonprofit, and philanthropic leadership in Detroit, Michigan, is seeking nominations and applications for its next Executive Director. The organization brings together funders, investors, practitioners, nonprofits, and community leaders in collective support of community success and resiliency.
Responsibilities
Provide vision, energy, humility, and a demonstrated commitment to collective impact, with nonprofit leadership experience including team management, fiscal management, and community engagement.
Report to the Co.act Board of Directors and serve as an effective fundraiser, champion, and connector to articulate the value of Co.act’s services and contributions to Southeast Michigan, raising its voice across the sector.
Qualifications
Successful experience in nonprofit leadership, including team management, fiscal management, and community engagement.
Ability to fundraise effectively, champion the organization, and connect with diverse stakeholders.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate Co.act’s value and impact and to elevate its profile within the sector.
