The Opportunity
The Senior Digital Portfolio Business Partner acts as a strategic interface between the GPN Business Unit and IT, developing strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring strategic alignment between long-term technology strategies and wider Business needs. They drive GPN technology strategy development and ensure the Business is connected with IT for solution discovery, service management, M&A activities, and risk management. They are a senior IT leader responsible for enabling GPN to achieve its objectives through the effective use of technology, supporting the collation, analysis, and prioritisation of GPN IT demand against Business priorities.
Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key GPN stakeholders to understand their business strategy, objectives, and priorities.
Ensure the IT strategy aligns with GPN business goals, providing guidance and recommendations on technology solutions in line with the Enterprise Architecture team.
Oversee the major IT demand management process for GPN requests, providing line management to a Portfolio Analyst responsible for partnering with Business and IT stakeholders to collate, structure, analyse, and prioritise demand.
Oversee financial analysis and business case development of major GPN IT initiatives, ensuring costs are justified by Business value to enable value-based decisions.
Maintain a strategic IT roadmap for GPN, reporting on value realization.
Partner with the Portfolio & Programme Management Director, GPN stakeholders, Digital Strategy team, and IT leaders to secure funding and oversee delivery of prioritized GPN IT initiatives.
Collaborate with the IT Change Lead to incorporate GPN business context and change needs into change plans.
Work with HR to identify IT training needs within GPN, integrating these into the IT strategy and communicating with Business stakeholders.
Oversee M&A activities, including due diligence and IT integration during acquisitions or divestments.
Represent the GPN business in IT leadership and governance meetings, monitoring KPIs, budgets, and roadmaps.
Act as a key escalation point for IT delivery issues affecting GPN, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
The Skills you will bring to the team
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Agile, PMP, Lean Portfolio Management) are desirable.
10+ years in IT portfolio management, digital transformation, or business relationship roles.
Experience in the consumer goods industry is preferred.
Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and translate requirements into IT initiatives.
Experience managing complex IT portfolios and demand processes from assessment to delivery.
Strong understanding of digital transformation, data-driven decision-making, and emerging technologies.
Experience supporting M&A IT activities within a global context.
Knowledge of ITSM and governance frameworks like ITIL, with experience monitoring KPIs and budgets.
Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills, especially at senior levels.
Ability to build trust-based stakeholder partnerships and align IT with business objectives.
Experience leading IT demand management and prioritization for health and nutrition initiatives.
Financial analysis and business case development skills to support value-based decisions.
Experience managing IT integration during M&A activities to ensure business continuity.
Ability to identify and implement process and technology improvements.
Skill in translating strategy into actionable plans using data and stakeholder input.
Capability to lead change initiatives with agility and foster collaboration.

Compensation varies based on factors such as location, role, skills, and experience. For IL-based roles, the annual salary range is $135,000 - $165,000 plus an annual bonus. The typical hiring range is below the midpoint.
