The City of Fayetteville is currently recruiting for an Airport Management Analyst to perform complex professional and administrative work related to the management of the Fayetteville Regional Airport as well as skilled clerical and technical work including administrative tasks involving specialized research.
Prepare and implement short and long-term financial planning, participate in the development and management of the departmental budget. Manage the airport’s federal and state grant programs, passenger facility charge program (PFC) and customer facility charge (CFC) program, including ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state and local requirements. Participate in the development of the Airport’s multi-year capital investment program in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, maintain and assist in the implementation. Oversee the airport’s ground transportation, parking and customer service financial functions. Conduct departmental procurement in coordination with the County’s Purchasing Department and ensure all departmental procurement is in accordance with applicable local, state and federal procurement regulations. Recommend, assist and manage complex airport leases, contracts and concession agreements. Maintain working relationships with all airport users, tenants and patrons. Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws and professional standards governing the Airport’s administration. Perform research; collect and analyze data; prepare periodic statistical reports; and provide information concerning department activities, program policies and procedures. . Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience : Three years of increasingly responsible experience in accounting, finance, financial administration, or a related field. Airport administration experience is preferred.
Training : Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance, accounting, aviation, business or public administration or a related field.

Certified Member (C.M.) certification through American Association of Airport Executives.
From the time of closing, the selection process is anticipated to last 4 - 6 weeks. The
process will consist of a panel interview with the selected candidate being subject to a pre-employment drug screen, 10 year criminal history records check in accordance with the Transportation Security Administration and driving history check.
